Since 2002, IBM has had a vibrant internal culture of online collaboration. Many of those early platforms, from BlogCentral to WikiCentral to later Cattail and DogEar, have now become Lotus Connections.
Lotus Connections is now deployed on ibm.com to allow IBMers to collaborate externally with IBM partners, clients, colleagues, and peers.
Lotus Connections setup
In order to participate in IBM digital experiences "behind the firewall" and on the IBM100 site, we ask that all IBMers create a Unified Profile by connecting their IBM Intranet ID/Password to a Web Identity ID on ibm.com.
The Unified Profile will consolidate your IBM profiles and login information into one simple, connected profile that streamlines your passwords, and allows you greater access to IBM tools, features and functions.
